No, tigers don’t hibernate because they live in warm countries and tropical environments.

The reason animals hibernate is to survive during the cold season. During hibernation they reduce body heat production, which requires a lot of energy. In other words, animals that are hibernating slow down metabolic functions, heart and breathing to maximize energy conservation during food shortages.

Since tigers live in warm places, hibernation is not necessary.

Do tigers migrate from one place to another?

Normally, the dominant tigers existing in one forest will not allow another species and another tiger to take its territory. Other tigers move into those patches once the dominant tiger is old.
